To create the world's greatest "egoistic striker", 300 of Japan's best young high school soccer players are isolated in a prison-like facility. Led by coach Jinichi Ego, the players engage in rigorous, life-or-death training and competitive "games" to develop scoring instincts and advance in the program, with the ultimate goal of revolutionizing Japanese football after decades of World Cup losses.
